The Serbian Statistics Office today stated that retail prices of goods and services for personal consumption in September rose on average by 0.3% when compared to August 2009.
The Serbian Statistics Office today stated that retail prices of goods and services for personal consumption in September rose on average by 0.3% when compared to August 2009.
Retail prices in September 2009 jumped by 7.3% compared with the same month in 2008, and 6.2% compared to December 2008.
By groups, compared with the previous month, the greatest increase in prices was recorded in furniture, household appliances, utility bills (1.2%), education (0.9%), electricity, water, gas and other fuels, clothes and footwear (0.6% each), while in the health sector a fall of 0.9% was recorded.
Other prices of goods and services did not change significantly.
