Zëri reports that Rapporteur for Serbia at European Parliament Jelko Kacin said that solution of Kosovo-Metohija problem is the determinant issue for integration of Serbia in the European Union.

Kacin made these comments after President Boris Tadic’s submission of Serbia’s request for membership at EU.

According to the Euro-deputy Kacin, there is an impression that Serbia does not want to integrate in EU without Kosovo-Metohija .

He said that everyone knows that Kosovo-Metohija is not ready for integration, and that Serbia should decide based on what conditions would head toward EU integration.
