Serbian government accepted the demand for privatization postponement sent by Duvanska Industrija Bujanovac (DIB).

This means that after the second failed tender in July 2009, there will be no further attempts of selling the company’s 16,628 shares, of which 57.85 percent is owned by equity and pension fund.

DIB produces tobacco foil and is a successful exporter. The DIB director Bogoljub Tomic says the compaby is satisfied with the government’s decision.
